Lidia Dziurzyńska-Leipert is a partner in the Real Estate and Construction Department at CMS Poland, where she also heads the German Desk.

She focuses primarily on major construction projects (including major infrastructure projects e.g. railway, road, waste treatment, plants, stadiums, development projects, and major construction disputes), as well as advising on all aspects of property transactions, as well as lease agreements. She has extensive experience in project finance and advising property investment funds.

Before joining CMS, Lidia was a partner in the German law firm Beiten Burkhardt, where she managed a team specialising in real estate and litigation. She has also worked at Clifford Chance and Droste Boesebeck.

She has authored a large number of publications relating to the real estate sector and is a member of the German-Polish lawyers’ association Deutsch-Polnische Juristenvereinigung.

  • Torpol on the Nowa Łódź Fabryczna project and Rail Baltica E‐75 project.
  • Worldwide insurance company in a case regarding a performance bond issued by Zurich in relation to the National Stadium project in Warsaw.
  • General Contractor of the National Stadium in Warsaw on the general contractor agreements with employer, subcontractors, public procurement law and several construction litigations incl. injunction proceedings related to the performance bond.
  • A major construction company in connection with the project of the City Stadium in Wrocław.
  • An international hotel investment company on the development of a new hotel building.
  • An international architect’s practice as a general designer and engineering and consulting firm on the roof structure of the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow.
  • The consortium of the general contractor performing the project of expansion and modernisation of a sewage treatment plant in Gdańsk in court proceedings in relation to the payment of funds under a performance bond securing the proper performance of the contract, payment of the outstanding constructor’s remuneration and disputes with the subcontractor.
