Piotr Prawda, a Polish-qualified advocate, is a counsel in the Energy and Infrastructure Department at CMS Poland.

He specialises in advising on the preparation and negotiation of contracts for investment projects, including public procurement contracts and on issues concerning linear development projects.

He has taken part in the preparation and negotiation of a number of contracts for the construction of new generating capacity, as well as in negotiating contracts for the modernisation of existing generating units. He has also participated in the preparation and implementation of linear development projects in the electric power sector. For these projects he helped obtain construction and environmental permits, and was involved in negotiations on the acquisition of legal title to property.

Piotr Prawda advises clients on the purchase and sale of energy, as well as in matters related to connecting new sources to the grid. He has drafted and reviewed documentation for public tenders and represented clients before the National Board of Appeal at the Public Procurement Office.
