CMS RPA participates in European Commission study

At the invitation of Baker & Mackenzie (B&M), CMS RPA have participated in a study recently published by the European Commission (EC) on the legal regime of trade secrets and confidential commercial information in the domestically market and in the United States and Japan (trade secrets and confidential business information in the Internal Market, plus U.S. and Japan).

The participation of CMS RPA was coordinated by the partners José Luís Arnaut and Joaquim Shearman de Macedo, with the participation of Cristina Gouveia de Carvalho, Pedro Leitão Fajardo, Cláudia Fonseca and Rui Real. The invitation came as part of a contest sponsored by the EC, won by B&M for the preparation of its study of the 27 European jurisdictions plus the U.S. and Japan, and the CMS RPA been invited to prepare the matter on the Portuguese jurisdiction.
