Recent Changes in Employment Law
Law no. 69/2013, 30th August, that approves the 5th amendment to the Portuguese Labour code, adjusting the amount due to cease of the employment contract entered today into force.
Hence, there are currently 3 (three) different calculations according to the date of start of the labour relationship, as per the table in the Appendix (click here):
Employment contracts celebrated:
- Before 01.11.2011
- Between 01.11.2011 and 30.09.2013
- After 01.10.2013
