Employment compliance: protecting your businesses against fraud in the workplace

The aim of this event is to provide you with a valuable overview of compliance issues employers should be aware of and measures that can be taken in order to protect your business, as well as a look at the consequences of not doing so. We will also include an overview of recent criminal investigations in Romania.

The programme will include short presentations on:

• Compliance – protecting your business from fraud in the workplace: an overview of compliance issues that management and HR should be aware of when uncovering a fraud case and measures that can be taken in order to protect your business from fraud in the workplace.
• A closer look – disciplinary review:a closer look at how the disciplinary review process will enable management and HR to prevent and recover, or limit damages resulting from fraud in the workplace.
• Understanding the risks – useful recent case studies: we will look at some useful case studies of recent criminal investigations related to fraud in the workplace in order to offer practical guidance for management and HR.
