Gabriel Sidere appointed Bucharest Office Managing Partner

CMS Cameron McKenna LLP in Romania, is pleased to announce that as at 1 May, Gabriel Sidere was appointed into the role of Bucharest Office Managing Partner. Gabriel takes over from Todd Robinson, who will continue to based in Romania and remains committed to his role on the international leadership team and as a member of the Board.

Gabriel Sidere comments, “ I am honoured to be given this unique opportunity to take the Romanian office of CMS Cameron McKenna forward into the future building on the exceptional work and leadership of Todd Robinson. Under Todd’s guidance, the firm has developed into one of the leading and the largest international firm in Romania. Gabriel joined the CMS Cameron McKenna Bucharest office with Hayhurst Robinson in 2006 after having been a partner in Hayhurst Robinson since 1998, and has been instrumental in the local success of the Commercial and Litigation teams as well as being an integral part of the firm’s international expertise.

The firm has been a serious regional player in Central and Eastern for the last two decades. Currently the firm has offices in Bucharest, Budapest, Kyiv, Prague, Sofia and Warsaw, and in January 2009, CMS Cameron McKenna in Moscow merged with CMS Bureau Francis Lefevbre and CMS Hasche Sigle to create the CMS Russia, the largest law firm in Russia, with over 90 lawyers.
