Valentina Parvu is a senior associate in the Commercial and Regulatory Practice Group at CMS Bucharest.

With over ten year's experience, she specialises in intellectual property, data protection, distribution and unfair competition matters, advising clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including, lifesciences, consumer products and TMT.

Her experience includes advising on marketing and distribution of pharmaceutical products, pricing and reimbursement, advertising and promotion, clinical trials, assistance and representation before the competent public authorities.

Valentina also advises on various commercial law issues specific to the consumer products sector such as on labelling & packaging, advertising, consumer protection and commercial contracts (supply and distribution). She has advised a wide range of TMT companies on issues such as outsourcing, transfer of technology, data protection, protection and enforcement of IPR.

Ro­mania – state aid scheme seeks to boost film in­dustry
Re­cently, the Ro­mani­an gov­ern­ment ap­proved a state aid scheme for the film in­dustry (De­cision No 421 of 13 June 2018). The scheme aims at pro­mot­ing the na­tion­al cul­tur­al iden­tity of Ro­mania and brings an im­port­ant boost to film pro­duc­tion by of­fer­ing sig­ni­fic­ant.
