Maxim Boulba is a Partner and Head of the Competition team at CMS, Russia. 

The CMS, Russia Competition team in Moscow advises some of the biggest names in the market on significant projects in the area of competition law and on specific, complex antitrust issues. The team has also handled a large number of difficult merger clearances in Russia and the other CIS countries.

As part of M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations, Maxim advises foreign investors on Russian antimonopoly requirements and obtaining antitrust clearance in relation to the acquisition of companies and assets located in Russia and the CIS.

He has also successfully represented corporate clients in administrative proceedings before the antimonopoly authorities and has worked on projects related to antitrust compliance and inspections by the antitrust authorities.

Maxim is a member of the non-commercial partnership “Competition Support Association”. This non-commercial partnership unites Russian antimonopoly authorities with the leading competition lawyers from major international and Russian law firms, in-house counsels and economists specialising in antimonopoly law.
