Join Microsoft, BHP and CMS as we discuss digital transformation in energy and natural resources.

The energy and natural resources sector in Asia-Pacific is undergoing rapid and unprecedented change, powered by digital technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, IoT and automation. As a result, energy and natural resources companies across Asia-Pacific are reassessing their strategies to put technology at the core of their businesses.

For legal and compliance teams, these developments bring new issues to consider, such as privacy, security and compliance. They also bring new opportunities for forward-looking legal and compliance teams to play a defining role in the digital transformation of the energy and natural resources sector.

In this session, join senior lawyers from Microsoft, BHP and CMS in this round-table discussion where we will explore the questions that legal and compliance professionals in the energy and resources sector find themselves facing, including:

  1. What are the key legal issues in digital transformation?
  2. How can these be overcome?
  3. What should our organisation ask for from our service providers?
