He has advised some of the most important market players in different industries (automotive, FMCG, food and agriculture, energy, pharmaceuticals, etc.) on antitrust-related aspects of their everyday business operations and has coordinated high-profile multi-jurisdictional merger filings. He also represents clients in investigation proceedings of the Serbian competition authority and has extensive experience in dawn raids and individual exemption procedures.

Raško Radovanović also advises German-speaking clients on competition, commercial and corporate aspects of their everyday business operations in Serbia.

He joined CMS in 2010, after he had finished his LL.M. studies in Germany, where he also worked in the energy sector.

“I try to put myself in my client’s shoes, to understand the client’s industry well and reasonably consider actual circumstances, before I come up with a list of real ‘red flags’.”

Raško Radovanović is a passionate competition law practitioner who has devoted much of his time to scientific research and further education. He supported the development of the first Serbian university textbook on competition law and is the author of several articles in this field. Raško Radovanović is currently a PhD candidate in competition law at the University of Vienna. His spare time is devoted to sports and sailing.

“I try to put myself in my client’s shoes, to understand the client’s industry well and reasonably consider actual circumstances, before I come up with a list of real ‘red flags’.”

“I think it is crucial to tailor training seminars to the requirements of a specific industry, because otherwise people will not find them interesting and they will not understand the importance of certain issues”.
