Srđan Janković is a senior attorney with more than 15 years of experience and a strong reputation in the market as an experienced competition lawyer. He heads the Competition, Commercial and Technology, Media & Communications (TMC) practices at CMS Belgrade.

He represents clients in all aspects of cartels and abuse of dominance matters, including appeal procedures before Serbian and Montenegrin courts. Alongside his antitrust practice, he regularly assists clients with navigating cross-border merger control reviews. 

Srđan also regularly advises clients on market sector investigations and studies and his extensive practice puts a particular focus on retail, telecommunications, IT, automotive, and healthcare sectors. His hands-on approach and vast experience in dawn-raids and digital forensics make him the trusted adviser of many pre-eminent clients in Serbia, North Macedonia and in Montenegro. 

Srđan has also conceptualized and led a number of tailor-made compliance programs and in-house trainings for clients. He also advises businesses in the field of advertising and product regulation, in particular in relation to packaging and labelling issues and product licensing.

Before joining CMS Belgrade, he served as a senior adviser in the Antitrust Division of the Serbian Commission for Protection of Competition.

Srđan Janković has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all types of commercial agreements with a particular focus on distribution and franchise agreements in the retail, healthcare and automotive sectors. 

Srđan’s expertise also encompasses trade law, including advertising and consumer protection. 

In the area of public procurement, Srđan Janković advises clients on all aspects of public procurement procedures in Serbia and in Montenegro. He supports both government entities and private businesses, assisting them with tendering, bidding and contract negotiations. Srđan has an extensive experience in working with procurement contracts in the life sciences & healthcare sector.
