Maja Šipek has extensive experience in handling the most complex large-scale disputes in front of courts and arbitration institutions. The scope of her work ranges from management liability and corporate regulatory disputes to product liability and consumer protection disputes. Her litigation practice covers many sectors, notably the insurance, finance, automotive and pharmaceutical sector.

Apart from that, Maja is experienced in conducting internal forensic investigations and leading the different types of proceedings that derive from them. She also regularly represents clients in out-of-court negotiations for settlement of different types of disputes.

High profile litigation cases that require creative thinking and a quick turnaround have helped her develop into an efficient and well-organized lawyer who is able to quickly find solutions to complex legal issues.

Banking & Finance

Maja Šipek has been working in banking and finance for more than seven years. She is experienced in advising lenders and borrowers on different types of financing transactions, including bond issuance transactions, in representing buyers and sellers in NPL sales transactions and in conducting financial restructurings. She also regularly advises clients in relation to banking regulatory matters and capital markets matters.

Her areas of expertise also span in the field of banking & finance litigations which adds extra value for clients from major international banks and financial institutions.
