09/09/2014

International law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz again welcomes new partner: as of 1 September 2014, Clemens Grossmayer (33) is partner at CMS

“As a long-standing member of the transactions team, Clemens Grossmayer has contributed substantially to the expansion of our transactions practice. Being ‘client centric’, one of three CMS core values, is anything but an empty phrase to him. He is deeply committed to our clients and has demonstrated remarkable professional expertise. We are very pleased to welcome Clemens Grossmayer among our partners,” says Peter Huber, managing partner at CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz.

Dr. Clemens Grossmayer has been working for the international law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz since 2005. He completed his doctorate at the University of Vienna’s faculty of law in 2009 with a multi-award winning dissertation on a legal aspect of corporate reorganisation. In 2009/2010 he completed a secondment to CMS London. In 2010, he was also admitted to the Austrian bar. Clemens Grossmayer advises domestic and international companies on M&A transactions and restructurings as well as issues of corporate finance and corporate governance. He also specialises in advising clients facing insolvency.

Clemens Grossmayer gives lectures on drafting M&A contracts at the University of Vienna’s faculty of law. Together with CMS partner Günther Hanslik, he has published a practitioner’s manual on this topic, “Big Deal? M&A Verträge richtig verhandeln!” (Big deal? How to negotiate M&A contracts). He regularly publishes on issues relating to business and corporate law.
