In 2017 Niederösterreichische Pressehaus Druck- und Verlags Ges.mb.H. spun off its printing business into the wholly owned subsidiary NP Druck. This is now being followed by the sale of NP Druck. As with the previous transaction, CMS has once again been engaged to provide legal advice. Subject to approval from the competition authorities, NP Druck will therefore become part of the largest independent printing company in Europe. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
NP Druck Ges.m.b.H is one of Austria’s leading printing companies, specialising in the printing of low- to medium-run magazines, brochures and catalogues. The new owner of this successful printworks, which employs 160 people and generates an annual turnover of around 55 million euros, will be Let’s Print Holding AG, part of the Walstead Group, a commercial printing group that operates internationally. NÖ Pressehaus and Walstead have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

In addition, NÖ Pressehaus has received support from Bernhard Hudernik and Thomas Lahmer of Deloitte Financial Advisory.
