New book on Public Procurement Law by CMS expert Bernt Elsner just published

On 17 November, publishing house Manz released the third edition of CMS public procurement law expert Bernt Elsner’s work on Austrian public procurement law (“BVergG”).

Public procurement law is today among the most important and complex legal fields of commercial law. Every year, public commissions amount to EUR 1.6 trillion in the EU and to EUR 35 billion in Austria. These figures demonstrate the high economic significance of the field, which is governed by a complex set of legal rules. Bernt Elsner presents the topic to the reader in a concise and clearly structured way. All changes due to the 2009 amendment are marked. The current jurisdiction and a pertinent bibliography are also part of this standard work on public procurement law.
