Thomas Böhm is CMS's newest partner

The international law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz has expanded its circle of partners: The insurance law expert Thomas Böhm (36) became a partner at CMS on the 1st of November 2016

Mag. Thomas Böhm, LL.M. (London) has worked at the international law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz since 2010. He studied at Vienna University's Faculty of Law and completed his post graduate studies in Commercial Law in London in 2007. He was registered as an attorney-at-law in Austria in 2011. Thomas Böhm advises national and international companies, mainly in insurance law and in the area of dispute resolution.

Thomas Böhm, born in Salzburg, began his career at CMS as an associate in the Vienna Dispute Resolution Team. Thomas Böhm has been specialised in the area of insurance law for some years now. He here supports national and international insurance providers – especially from other EU countries – in reviewing and drawing up policies and with regards to issues of insurance supervisory law. He also represents said companies before the courts. A further focus of his work are actions brought by investors: Thomas Böhm represents mainly issuers, listed companies and banks in damage actions before the courts.
