Roderick Nieuwmeyer works as an advocaat in our Competition & EU Practice Area Group. He is based in the CMS EU Law office in Brussels and the CMS office in Amsterdam.
Roderick has extensive knowledge of European law and has a special focus on competition law. He advises inter alia in the areas of anti-trust, including anti-trust compliance, merger control and distribution practices. He also litigates in proceedings with the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), the European Commission and national courts.
Roderick is a member of the CMS life sciences sector group and the CMS Innovation Advocates Team which provides legal assistance to innovative start-up companies. Additionally, he is a member of the CMS Dawn Raid Team and the German Desk.
Roderick joined CMS in 2012. Previously he worked as a lawyer at Houfhoff Buruma in Amsterdam, after having successfully completed a LL.M at the prestigious Collège d’Europe in Bruges.
