Based in Brussels, Sander holds a Master of Laws from Ghent University, supplemented by an LL.M. in EU Competition and IP law from the University of Liège. After completing his traineeship within DG Competition at the European Commission, he joined CMS’s EU & Competition department. He advises both national and international actors on all aspects of EU and Belgian competition law, including merger control, cartels, abuse of dominance and State aid.
