Editorial
Dear Reader,
We hope that 2016 has been successful, and wish you the very best for the new year ahead.
As always, we are pleased to bring you the latest legal news with our monthly newsletter, which contains updates on banking and finance, competition, employment, real estate, public procurement and Luxembourg law. Please also check out our interactive seminar in February on stock options for employees and Virginie Dor's new book on the law of 17 June 2016 on public procurement.
I take this opportunity to inform you that Sophie Berg was promoted to partner at our annual partners’ meeting of 25 January 2017. Sophie practices various aspects of labour law and social security law. In addition to assisting clients on day-to-day human resources issues (employment contracts, transactions, individual dismissals), Sophie has developed a broad experience in collective employment issues such as national and cross-border transfers of undertakings, business reorganisations and collective dismissals.
Sophie started working for CMS in Brussels in 2005. She obtained her law degree at the University of Louvain (UCL) and obtained a Master degree in European Studies at the University of Ghent.
Have an enjoyable read.
