Angelika is a Senior Associate at CEE CEM, based in Sofia. She is one of our experienced lawyers in the commercial sector, specialising in TMC. She is also a member of the French desk and the CEE TMC leadership team.
Angelika has significant experience in advising TMC companies on cloud computing, software licensing, partnership agreements, hackathons and competitions, general commercial contracts, regulatory matters, day-to day business activities, data protection, as well as on various other issues under Bulgarian law.
Recently, Angelika was seconded to GE (General Electric) in Paris, France, where she was instrumental in setting up GE Digital’s activity in Europe, handling key negotiations, preparation of templates, IP, liability and warranty issues in light of software on premises and cloud solutions. She has also been on a secondment at the Bulgarian offices of a multinational company focused on employee pre-paid solutions, including e-money, where she worked on the implementation of their merger with a local competitor and the company’s day-to-day needs.
Angelika provides tailored training webinars to clients in the TMC sector, most recently to GE on the challenges of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning and their practical implications. Topics were related to the practical approach towards AI and the ideas on how to face its fast growth, despite the lack of proper regulation. Discussions were also based on AI in manufacturing and the legal challenges, including data ownership, liability, warranty or IP.
