Raya Maneva is an Associate and member of the core Energy, Projects and Construction group at CMS Sofia. Raya has been part of CMS and the Energy & Climate Change team for more than 10 years now, working on a variety of different matters, especially in the renewables sector and in environmental law.  She has been involved in all stages of solar and wind projects from acquisition through construction and grid connection, including negotiations with the other side and administrative bodies and the corporate aspect of the transactions.

She has been involved in a number of acquisitions in the energy and climate change sector for clients such as Toshiba, SDN Company, Contour Global and Sun Edison, among others. She also works on projects matters, public and private procurement, public-private partnerships, environmental, commercial, and personal data protection matters. She has experience in the preparation and conduct of public tenders and in negotiations of contracts.
