Webinar: What changes will the revision of the Swiss public procurement law bring?

On 1 January 2021, substantial amendments of the Swiss public procurement law will enter into force after a long revision period. We invite you to view our webinar to find out what changes the revision will bring. The presentation can be downloaded below, and you can watch the recording here.

In the webinar, our public procurement law experts Marquard Christen and Fabian Martens provide an overview of what suppliers and contracting authorities must consider under the revised law.

The main topics of the webinar are:

  • Current status of the revision
At the Federal and Cantonal levels
  • Scope of application of the new law
Amendments to the subjective and objective scope of application
  • "Paradigm shift" regarding the award criteria
Quality competition and sustainability instead of priority based on the cheapest price
  • New deadlines and amended judicial protection
Be aware of new deadlines for the submission of offers and for legal remedies
  • Extended sanctions in the event of violations
Exclusions from tender procedures and fines

The webinar is in the German language.

The speakers Marquard Christen and Fabian Martens are available for any question you may have about the webinar and the revised law.
