Zurich | A team from CMS's Swiss and Polish offices advised Bucher-Motorex Group on the acquisition of a lubricants factory in Poland from Circle K (formerly Statoil Fuel & Retail). It was Motorex’s first acquisition in Central and Eastern Europe.
Bucher-Motorex Group is an independent family-run business, and Switzerland’s largest manufacturer of lubricants. The Group is currently undergoing rapid expansion and is celebrating its one-hundredth anniversary this year. It sells its Motorex-brand products in over 80 countries.
The CMS Team — headed by Stefan Brunnschweiler from CMS Zurich, and Błażej Zagórski from CMS Warsaw — advised the Bucher-Motorex Group in all legal aspects of the transaction including with regard to complex planning, construction, and environmental and regulatory issues.
