CMS advises Comdat Xeroprint AG on the acquisition of Smartec Group

Comdat Xeroprint AG in Schlieren acquires all shares of the Smartec Group in Rotkreuz. Both enterprises are partners of Xerox in the sale and rental of printing systems as well as related document management solutions, service and support.

The acquisition enables to expand their geographic market, creating one of the largest output management service provider in Switzerland. The joint group has more than 100 employees at six locations and supports more than 12,000 printing systems in the field. The previous owner of the Smartec Group will continue to provide his expertise by serving on the board of directors of Comdat Xeroprint AG as part of a succession plan.

A team from CMS Switzerland, led by partner Stefan Brunnschweiler, advised Comdat Xeroprint AG on all legal matters of the transaction.
