JEANETTE YU HAS BEEN ELECTED AS NATION CHAIR OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES WORKING GROUP OF EUROPEAN UNION CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN CHINA

Jeanette Yu, Partner and Head of Employment & Pensions Practice Area Group at CMS China has been elected as Nation Chair of the Human Resources Working Group (HR Working Group) of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. It is the third time for Jeanette to win in the election. Jeanette acted as Vice Chair in 2017 and 2018.

The HR Working Group aims to provide a platform to exchange information, promote awareness on HR and labor related issues among European companies across all industrial and service sectors and develop an open dialog between European companies and relevant Chinese authorities. 

Jeanette has more than 16 years’ experience in advising clients on Chinese labour law. She has advised clients on a wide range of employment law and compliance issues such as employment law due diligence, compliance, conclusion of employment contracts, employee dismissal, mass lay-off, relocation and restructuring, non-competition, social security, work permit, secondment and visa issues of expatriates. Jeanette also handled various commercial, labour disputes and compliance cases.
