CMS Hasche Sigle advises Cologne – AXA Investment Managers Deutschland GmbH has acquired part of a high-quality residential development in Berlin’s Wilmersdorf district on behalf of an institutional fund. The vendor is BAUWERT Württembergische Straße GmbH & Co. KG. The purchase comprises some 70 residential units totalling 7,150 square metres of living space together with 62 underground parking spaces. Each of the apartments has a balcony or roof terrace.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Isabel Schreyger advised AXA Investment Managers Deutschland on all aspects of the transaction.
Currently under construction on a former allotment site, the "Württembergische Straße" development boasts sophisticated architecture. The complex complies with the KfW 70 standard for particularly low energy requirements and is scheduled for completion in the 4th quarter of 2012. In total, the complex has some 210 residential units and 190 underground parking spaces.
