CMS advises Carlyle on acquisition of ADA Group

Stuttgart – Private equity investor The Carlyle Group has reached agreement with Halder Private Equity and management to acquire the ADA Group. The management will continue to hold a minority interest in the company alongside Carlyle. The purchase price was not disclosed. The transaction is currently awaiting approval from the cartel authorities.

An international team led by lead partners Dr Udo Simmat and Dr Tobias Schneider advised Carlyle on all aspects of the cross-border transaction.

With some 270 employees, the ADA Group is a leading producer and supplier of hotel cosmetics. Through its international distribution network of its own sales companies and international business partners, the ADA Group is represented worldwide and supplies more than 15,000 customers.
