Carlyle Europe Technology Fund will take over one of the main partners of Microsoft Dynamics™,
KCS.net Holding AG of Switzerland. KCS develops custom corporate ERP software solutions on the
basis of Microsoft Dynamics ™ AX: the KCS industry templates expand Microsoft Dynamics™ to meet
industry-specific needs. Since 1989 KCS has been advising companies in the sectors trade and
industry in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic.
After the transaction is completed, the sellers (the directors to date) will stay on as minority
shareholders and directors at KCS. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed. The execution
of the transaction is subject to clearance by the merger control authorities.
It is the first time that CMS Hasche Sigle has represented the US Carlyle Group, one of the
world's top holding companies. The team lead by the Stuttgart partners Dr. Udo Simmat and Dr Tobias
