CMS advises Holtzbrinck Publishing Group in connection with the launch of a single asset acquisition fund by BC Partners

Stuttgart - BC Partners has launched a single-asset acquisition fund of one billion euros with regard to its 47 percent stake in Springer Nature and has shifted its shares in the science publisher to new and existing institutional investors as well as BC Partners.

A CMS team led by Lead Partner Dr Tobias Grau provided comprehensive legal advice to Holtzbrinck Publishing Group (HPG), which holds 53 percent of Springer Nature. Grau had already advised HPG on the merger of the joint venture in 2014 and subsequent planned IPOs.
