CMS advises Invesco Real Estate on acquisition of Radisson Blu Hotel Cologne

Berlin – Invesco Real Estate (IRE) has bought for one of its managed hotel funds the four-star Radisson Blu Hotel Cologne from a group of Irish stakeholders among which IBRC Assurance Company Ltd. and National Asset Loan Management were the majority shareholders. The hotel is situated directly opposite Cologne trade fair offering 393 hotel rooms and is operated under the brand Radisson Blu by the Rezidor Hotel Group.

A CMS team from Germany and Luxembourg headed by lead partner Dr Gerd Leutner advised Invesco Real Estate on all legal aspects of the cross-border transaction.

IRE is part of Invesco Ltd., a leading independent global investment company.
