CMS advises Invesco Real Estate on purchase of office and industrial property in Munich

Munich – Invesco Real Estate (Invesco), a global property investment manager, has acquired a 20,600 sq m mixed-use office and industrial property in northern Munich. The property is currently fully let to a DAX-listed company. The off-market transaction was conducted for the actively managed portfolio of a German single-investor mandate handled by Invesco. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

As on previous occasions, a CMS team led by partners Dr Oliver Thurn and Dr Stefan Höß advised Invesco on all legal aspects of the transaction. Invesco is a longstanding CMS client and relies on the team’s expertise on a regular basis, with a recent example being the acquisition of the Frankfurt office complex Die Welle.

The property now being acquired on Hufelandstraße comprises three buildings in the Munich district of Milbertshofen with a number of possible uses.
