CMS advises Kassel fitness start-up STRAFFR GmbH on seed financing round

Frankfurt/Main – Russian VC investor Indigo Capital Partners has acquired shares in Kassel-based fitness start-up STRAFFR GmbH as part of a seed round of financing. The existing investors include several business angels and BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen.

A CMS team from the Frankfurt office consisting of Dr Florian Plagemann and Dr Joachim Dietrich advised STRAFFR GmbH on all legal aspects of the financing round. STRAFFR GmbH is a member of equIP, CMS’s own start-up support programme, and was also advised by CMS on the previous round of financing.

Kassel-based STRAFFR GmbH offers a fitness app which is complemented by elastic resistance bands. The resistance bands have an integrated sensor that can be connected to the STRAFFR app, thereby opening up many new training options for the user.

Headquartered in Moscow, Russia, Indigo Capital Partners is a global VC fund focusing on sports technology.
