CMS advises LEGIC Identsystems on acquisition of XDK IoT platform from Bosch

04/08/2021

Düsseldorf – Swiss firm LEGIC Identsystems AG, a provider of highly secure access and mobility products, has acquired the Cross-Domain Development Kit (XDK) from Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions GmbH. The programmable XDK is the “Swiss Army knife” of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, enabling developers to reach product launch six months faster on average. When combined with LEGIC’s end-to-end security platform, it offers developers the ability to quickly create industrial IoT solutions that can be securely configured, managed and monitored via mobile devices in both online and offline environments. The main applications include industrial process monitoring, machine rental and asset tracking.

A CMS team headed by partners Dr Marcel Hagemann and Dr Thomas Hirse advised LEGIC Identsystems AG on all legal aspects of the acquisition.
