CMS advises real estate service provider Savills on acquisition of property and facilities management companies from OMEGA Immobilien Group

Stuttgart – Real estate service company Savills has acquired property and facilities management companies OMEGA Immobilien Management GmbH and OMEGA Immobilien Service GmbH. Savills is using the acquisition to close a strategic gap in international markets and expand its range of services in Germany. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is currently awaiting approval from the competition authorities.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Claus-Peter Fabian, who regularly advises the Savills Group on corporate transactions, also advised Savills Immobilien Beteiligungs-GmbH on all legal aspects of this transaction.

London-based Savills is a global real estate service company listed on the London Stock Exchange. According to the firm’s own figures, it has seven offices in Germany with around 200 employees. Savills Immobilien Beteiligungs-GmbH specialises in holding and managing equity interests in German and foreign companies with a focus on real estate consulting.

The OMEGA Immobilien Group has its headquarters in Cologne and is a specialist in property management. One of the key areas it covers is asset, property and facilities management.
