CMS advises root360 GmbH on acquisition by Waterland portfolio company Skaylink

Leipzig – root360 GmbH, a leading provider of managed services focusing on Amazon Web Services, has been acquired by cloud service provider Skaylink, a portfolio company held by Waterland Private Equity. The acquisition is part of Skaylink’s strategy to expand its portfolio of managed cloud services for corporate clients and SMEs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Jörg Lips and Senior Associate Dr Helge Rieckhoff advised Leipzig-based root360 on all legal aspects of the transaction.
