Frankfurt/Main – Silicium GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dr. Rolf M. Schwiete Foundation, is acquiring a majority stake in the Erlenbach Group from the Dacapo Group. Managing director Thorsten Jacoby will remain a co-shareholder.
A CMS team led by Dr Oliver Wolfgramm advised Silicium GmbH on the legal aspects of this transaction.
Based in Lautert in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Erlenbach Group is a world leader in electrically driven particle foam systems. Particle foams are foam beads made from thermoplastic materials. They play an important role in packaging, thermal insulation systems and technical components in the automotive sector. Foam beads are processed into moulded parts using moulding machines and block-forming systems.
