CMS advises Versicherungskammer on investment in office and retail building on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm

Stuttgart – International property investment manager Savills Investment Management (Savills IM) has advised on the acquisition of a newly constructed office and retail property at Kurfürstendamm 12 in Berlin on behalf of the Versicherungskammer Group. The seller is RFR, the property was built by Centrum.

The building is part of the Gloria Galerie ensemble and comprises around 6,500 square metres of rental space. The retail units and the approximately 3,000 square metres of office space are fully let. Versicherungskammer is making the investment to further diversify its real estate portfolio. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Volker Zerr advised Versicherungskammer on all legal aspects of the acquisition.
