CMS Hasche Sigle acts as Transaction Counsel for IPO of aleo solar

14/07/2006

aleo solar AG with registered offices in Oldenburg and Prenzlau has successfully completed the IPO. The shares have been traded on the Frankfurt stock exchange since 14 July 2006. The manufacturer of solar modules whose plant in Prenzlau is one of the largest and most up-to-date production plants for solar and photovoltaic techniques in Europe and whose sales rose last year by 32 per cent to 107 million Euros was advised by a CMS Hasche Sigle team led by Frankfurt partner Dr Andreas Zanner. In view of the opportunities for growth in the solar energy branch, Dr Andreas Zanner, expert for stock and capital market law at CMS Hasche Sigle, regards the stock market flotation as a "signal and challenge to the whole economic sector for renewable energies to profit now from the positive spirit in this sector".
More than 7 million shares (including surplus allocation) were able to be placed. In addition to Commerzbank, Hypovereinsbank and Berenberg Bank belonged to the consortium of banks. The placement proceeds from the sale of the shares amount to more than EUR 100m.
