Frankfurt – The internationally operating Nord-Schrott Group took over Middeldorf Rohstoffhandel headquartered in Krefeld.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by partner Heike Wagner advised the owner of Middeldorf Rohstoffhandel in all aspects of the transaction.
Middeldorf Rohstoffhandel was founded in 1981 and is today one of the leading German niche players for trading as well as processing of stainless steel scrap, generating sales considerably above EUR 50 million. The Nord-Schrott Group is a well-established family owned company that specializes in the processing and trading of non-ferrous metals, steel scrap, electronic scrap and plastics. The Group employs about 300 people and generates an annual turnover of more than EUR 500 million. Besides offices in Flensburg and Frankfurt, the Group also has offices in Scandinavia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, China and India.
