CMS Hasche Sigle advises 7(S) Personal on acquisition of EDWORK

Frankfurt/Stuttgart – 7(S) Personal GmbH, a leading German employment service provider, has acquired all the shares in personnel services company EDWORK GmbH & Co. KG. The deal, which takes retroactive effect from 1 January 2012, includes a majority stake in engineering firm EDAG GmbH & Co. KGaA. EDWORK is headquartered in Fulda and was established in 2007. It provides wide-ranging personnel services via some 1,500 employees in 33 branches and nine customer centres. 
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by partners Till Liebau and Dr Christoph Schücking advised 7(S) Personal GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction. It follows on from previous transactions, such as the acquisition of Montaplan last year. 
The 7(S) Group has been supplying temporary workers, recruitment and other HR services across multiple industries for more than 30 years.
