Bankhaus Lampe KG which belongs to the Oetker group has acquired Conetwork GmbH, a subsidiary of HypoVereinsbank. Led by Duesseldorf partner Dr Ernst-Markus Schuberth a team from CMS Hasche Sigle advised Bankhaus Lampe KG on the transaction. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Conetwork specialises in providing advice to medium-size companies and entrepreneurs. The spectrum of advice covers Corporate Finance and M&A, Family Office and Equity Management. The customer business and the interest portfolio also acquired, from which the strategic interests of HypoVereinsbank are excluded, will be continued unchanged under the new partner.
The change of ownership of Hamburger Conetwork is in the strategic interests of both institutions. Whilst Bankhaus Lampe KG can use the acquisition to spur on the expansion of its advisory concepts HypoVereinsbank chose to sell owing to the extended number of services on offer within the HypoVereinsbank group which also includes the spectrum of advice offered by Conetwork.
