CMS Hasche Sigle advises Bilfinger Berger on PPP school projects in Halle

Bilfinger Berger is carrying out the refurbishment and reconstruction on eight schools in Halle an der Saale. In collaboration with a regional partner a total of eleven buildings are to be financed, planned and built, and operated over the next 25 years. The project will require investment in the order of EUR 45 million. The first schools will go into operation in August 2008. 
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle headed by Dr Hartmut Hamann advised Bilfinger Berger on structuring and drafting the project agreement. 
Bilfinger Berger has been successful internationally on private construction projects for public buildings. Its foreign activities focus on PPP construction business in the British Isles and Australia.
