CMS Hasche Sigle advises Brenntag on the sale to BC Partners

Bain Capital is selling its investment Brenntag to BC Partners. Led by Stuttgart partner Dr Thomas Meyding Brenntag's management team was advised on the takeover by BC Partners. The takeover is subject to clearance by the cartel authorities. CMS Hasche Sigle had already advised Brenntag's management team on the takeover by Bain Capital in 2003. 
The Brenntag group is the world market leader in the distribution of industrial and special chemicals and is present at approx. 300 locations in 50 countries. In the financial year 2005 Brenntag generated a turnover of approx. 5.3 million euros.
