CMS Hasche Sigle advises Brückner on acquisition of PackSys Global AG

Munich – Brückner Technology Holding GmbH has acquired 100% of the shares in Swiss company PackSys Global AG, which in turn owns subsidiaries in Thailand, India and Mauritius.

A team led by partners Dr Armin Dürrschmidt and Richard Mitterhuber advised Brückner on all aspects of the transaction. CMS Hasche Sigle also advised the South Germany-based company when it acquired the Kiefel Group in 2006 and subsequently on the sale of the Kiefel Extrusion business in 2009.

With a 30-year track record, PackSys Global AG is a leading manufacturer of highly specialised equipment and machinery for the packaging industry. The company employs some 300 people worldwide, generating consolidated sales of around 70 million Swiss francs in the current business year, which runs until the end of March 2011.
