CMS Hasche Sigle advises Domicil on the sale to HTL

05/10/2005

The listed Singaporean furniture group HTL has acquired the trade mark, concept and all assets of the German furnishing chain Domicil Möbel GmbH. A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Dr Albrecht Piltz, partner in the Cologne office, advised Domicil on the transaction.

In 2004 the Lindau-based company had a turnover in excess of EUR 30m in its 15 own and 8 franchise stores. Last year HTL generated a turnover in excess of EUR 240m. The number of franchise stores operating under the name Domicil is to increase to over 100 in the next 5 years.
