eismann Tiefkühl-Heimservice GmbH & Co KG is the second most successful on the German market in
direct sales of frozen goods and ice-cream to private households. The eismann group is one of the
leading providers in Europe in this sector. eismann was part of the Nestlé group until 2004; the
Nestlé group divested itself of eismann by sale to an investment group and management. eismann has
now instructed T-Systems to implement a complex SAP transition and implementation project by which
eismann's system environment will be radically restructured. This will lead to the final separation
of the eismann IT-systems from the Nestlé group. An extensive IT-outsourcing agreement under which
eismann assigns to T-Systems the systems operation, the handling of the SAP-systems environment and
the Application Lifecycle Management forms part of the transition and implementation project.
