CMS Hasche Sigle advises Eissmann on acquisition of Dagro

28/01/2013

Stuttgart – Eissmann Automotive Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Bad Urach, Southern Germany, has fully acquired automotive supplier DagroEissmann GmbH of eastern Thuringia. Eissmann originally took over Dagro’s operations jointly with insolvency administrator Rolf Rombach after the company went into administration in 2009 and agreed an option to purchase the remaining 74 per cent of the shares held by the insolvency administrator. This option has now been retrospectively exercised with effect from 1 January 2013. The purchase price was not disclosed.

CMS Hasche Sigle advised Eissmann Automotive Deutschland GmbH on the legal aspects of the transaction.

A manufacturer of high-end vehicle interiors, the Eissmann Group generated sales of approximately EUR 270 million in the last financial year at ten production locations in Germany and abroad. Dagro employs some 400 people at its two sites at Gera and Korbußen and produces high quality interiors for premium automotive manufacturers.
