CMS Hasche Sigle advises FirstService on acquisition of majority stake in Colliers Munich und Colliers Stuttgart

Stuttgart – Canada-based FirstService Corporation, the world's third largest provider of real estate services, has acquired a majority stake in Colliers Schauer & Schöll GmbH, Munich, and Colliers Bräutigam & Krämer GmbH, Stuttgart. This move sees the listed company entering the German market for the first time. The acquisition involves the Colliers branches in Munich, Stuttgart and Berlin.

An internationally experienced team led by lead partner and M&A expert Dr Peter Baisch advised FirstService on all aspects of the transaction.

Property management company FirstService manages more than 213 million square metres of residential and commercial properties through its three industry-leading service platforms. The company generated worldwide revenue of more than USD 2.3 billion in its last reporting year and has 23,000 employees.
