CMS Hasche Sigle advises Funkwerk on Microsyst transaction

Leipzig – Kölleda-based Funkwerk AG has signed an agreement to sell all the shares in its subsidiary Microsyst Systemelectronic GmbH (Microsyst GmbH), which is located in the Bavarian town of Weiden. The purchaser in this management buy-out is the company's current Prokurist [authorised representative].The transaction is currently awaiting approval from Funkwerk's external financing partners. The shares will be transferred with retroactive effect from 1 January 2013. The purchase price was not disclosed.

A team led by corporate law expert and lead partner Eckhart Braun advised Funkwerk AG on all aspects of the transaction.

Microsyst Systemelectronic GmbH manufactures display systems for industrial applications. Examples include the automotive industry’s use of the firm's large-format displays on production lines.

Funkwerk AG remains focused on two strategic segments: Traffic & Control Communication and Security Communication.
