Leipzig – Funkwerk has sold Funkwerk Avionics GmbH to DREI Unternehmensbeteiligungen GmbH, a private equity and management firm. The purchase agreement was signed today. The purchase price was not disclosed.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partner Eckhart Braun advised Funkwerk on all legal aspects of the sales process.
The sale of Waal-based Funkwerk Avionics enables Funkwerk AG to take an important strategic step towards concentrating on its core business areas. Funkwerk specialises in solutions-driven information and communications systems for transport and traffic, safety and vehicles.
The sale of Funkwerk Avionics GmbH is subject to suspensive conditions which are likely to be satisfied in April 2012.
